Colombia Tolima Organic {Washed}

This is a fabulous example of a classic washed process coffee cultivated from the lush region of Tolima, an area considered one of the heavyweights in the Colombian coffee world. 

A gorgeous caramel aroma kicks things off, both in the smell of the beans and the initial hot pour.  This is a rich, sweet coffee, with very mild hints of raspberry and strawberry in the background, and a little dried apricot sweetness, which is beautifully complimented by a definite salted caramel base. There is a clean vibrancy that is akin to a bright cherry and citrus. A smooth mouthfeel, with medium body and acidity and a clean sweet finish.  A real treat, anytime!
