This is a tasty example of specialty coffee from Limu. A slightly lesser known region than places like Yirchacheffe and Guji, Limu, in its highlands, has altitudes of 1900 masl and fertile clay soil, both great for growing excellent coffees with complex flavors.
In the cup this coffee has sweet caramel aromatics, which translate into the first sip. There is a sugary sweetness that is laced with delicate floral notes that are complimented with peach, honey, tea and a subtle lemon flavor on the back end. This coffee has a very refreshing and clean profile that will be perfect as the weather warms up. The body has a light and bright mouthfeel that should work well any time of day!
