This is a lovely, vibrant washed coffee from a small, fertile province in the Amazonas region of Peru. It starts with a sweet aroma that’s chocolatey and nutty, which carries through to the first sip. There is a clear milk chocolate base, with peanut brittle undertones, a slightly malted herbal touch, and a hint of caramel with apple and oats. The mouthfeel has a softness that is smooth and rich for a medium body, and a medium apple-like acidity that shines through for a long, dry finish. This one is extremely versatile - it works great as filter, pour over, espresso, even as iced coffee or cold brew. You name it, it has you covered!
