Costa Rica - San Diego SHB {Natural}

This is a beautifully clean tasting, naturally processed coffee from the San Diego Mill, one of the most modern mills in Costa Rica, which has been innovating for over a century now. 

For a naturally processed coffee, this is a remarkably clean and refreshing cup - the usual fruitiness is more muted and rustic - great for the summer!  While the initial smell from the cup is primarily chocolate and caramel, the taste contains an array of subtle flavors including mixed berries, plum, sangria, starfruit, honey sweetness, and even a tiny bit of earl grey and mandarine orange on the back end. The flavors bloom as the cup cools and overall it has a pleasantly vibrant and bright mouthfeel, with a medium body.  A lovely cup, especially for this time of year!
