This is a beautifully clean tasting, naturally processed coffee from the Guji zone of Ethiopia. Rich volcanic soils, forest canopy of shade trees, and ideal temperatures create this distinct coffee region renowned for clarity and sweetness.
For a naturally processed coffee, this is a very crisp and clean cup with a more nuanced fruitiness that’s refreshing - great for summer! The initial hot aroma from the cup offers tropical fruits, which subtly come through in the taste. This coffee really benefits from some rest time. The flavors that develop as the cup cools include tropical fruits, honeysuckle, floral notes, citrus and black tea. It has a pleasantly vibrant and bright mouthfeel, with a smooth and rich viscosity. It’s a lovely cup, especially for this time of year!
